Danielle McBeth

Danielle McBeth is a partner with the government relations and public affairs firm Alcalde & Fay. She has a strong background in government affairs and media relations and serves both corporate and public clients of the firm. She has substantial experience working with Congress and the Executive Branch on behalf of the firm’s local government and education clients.

Ms. McBeth has worked with coalitions and organizations to lobby for Congressional action or to revise and promote broad national policy. Her successes include securing Federal grants and legislative appropriations for local governments and educational institutions in a myriad of areas including technology, immigration, transportation, economic development, and infrastructure.

Ms. McBeth has been active in the firm’s grassroots communications and education campaigns. She participated in the “Keep America Moving” campaign and helped to build community based support for the organization’s legislative initiatives.

Prior to joining the firm in 1995, Ms. McBeth served as press secretary for the Florida Commission on Education Reform and Accountability, and Florida State University’s Center for Professional Development. She began her career working for several newspapers including the New York Times Regional Newspapers, the Spartanburg Herald-Journal and the Tallahassee Democrat.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Florida A&M University where she received the “Outstanding Senior in Newspaper Journalism Award” for her work at The FAMUAN from the Dean of Journalism and her professors. While continuing her career as a lobbyist, Ms. McBeth obtained a law degree from American University, Washington College of Law.
