Jakara Eason

Jakara Eason is a Vice President at Venn Strategies, where she advises healthcare, public health, nonprofit, and corporate clients on public policy strategy, coalition development, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. With more than a decade of experience in public affairs and strategic programming, she specializes in bringing together diverse stakeholders to navigate complex policy challenges, build consensus, and advance shared priorities before Congress and the executive branch.

Throughout her career, Jakara has developed and managed national coalitions, advisory bodies, advocacy campaigns, policy forums, Congressional briefings, and other initiatives focused on issues including patient access, medication policy, chronic disease, health equity, and care delivery. She regularly counsels senior executives on policy positioning and partnership strategy and has worked across the corporate, nonprofit, clinical, patient advocacy, and philanthropic sectors. In addition to her role at Venn Strategies, Jakara serves as Executive Director of Mindful Choices for ADHD, a national nonpartisan advocacy organization focused on improving ADHD policy and access to evidence-based care.

Before joining Venn Strategies, Jakara worked at Arnold & Porter LLP, where she supported client and executive programming across the firm’s U.S. offices. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Howard University and a Master of Tourism Administration from The George Washington University.
